Dr. Jeffrey Yechang Wang, MD

I'm a person who values integrity. I had two spine treatments with Dr. Wang. First two didn't work well, so went back for a radio frequency back ablation. It worked fine until recently. I've had a few back incidents which are very painful. At the last visit, I had shared with the staff that I was going thru, had several minor surgeries and procedures done. On my last checkup visit, I was told NO NEED TO COME BACK, CALL US ONLY IF THE PAIN COMES BACK, by Dr. Wang. Mind you I had not finished my inquiry. I felt hurt that I could be dismissed with a wave of his hand. I'm afraid to call back and be dismissed again. Mind you the surgical team is nice, they talk and interact with you and make you feel comfortable. Several front desk people need to be trained in patient service.

I have read some reviews here commenting negatively regarding Dr. Wang's bedside manner and stating that has preoccupied during consultations. My experiences with him have been vastly different. Dr. Wang took excellent care of my 89-year-old mom several times and has exhibited great patience with my brother and me when explaining the problem and the procedure he recommends. He successfully put three stents in my mom's legs, and we could not be happier and more comforted that he is her Vein Doc. I trust Dr. Wang implicitly and, frankly, could care less about his bedside manner although we all found him to be down to earth, patient and sincere. What I care about is his expertise, which he has in spaids. Read what he has accomplished. He's remarkable. You want a surgeon that is skilled and confident and will carry out complicated procedures effectively. My family would recommend him to anyone who needs vascular care. Plus, his entire staff is thoughtful and meticulous.

This is quite possibly the worst excuse for a Doctor I've ever encountered. Zero Bedside Manner, was an hour late for my appointment and I heard him on the phone with his Financial Planner talking when he was supposed to be seeing me. Needless to say I will never be going back to this office, it's a shame that this man cares more about himself and his money than he does his patients. The worst thing was his diagnosis was incorrect as well. Thank goodness I got a second opinion.

This doctor is supposedly outstanding but if you can't interact with patients in a respectful manner it is meaningless. This doctor could not maintain a conversation without jiggling his leg constantly. He couldn't or wouldn't look at my wife or me. As another review says, he got on his cell phone and had conversations about other patients in front of us! This must happen frequently as he didn't apologize or act as if it was out of the ordinary. Go to one of the other doctors in his group.

I had ab appointment with Dr. Wang. He was 30 minutes late. He never once looked me in the eye when he spoke to me. His cell phone rang and he answered it then proceeded to have a conversation about a different patient in front of me. He is rude, arrogant and I would never recommend him.

I asked for a prescription to be mailed to me. I asked on a Friday and received it the following Friday. I am only 3 miles from their office. The postmark was from Thursday so all my calls to their office at the beginning of the week when I asked where it was... and they said it was mailed was all lies.
