Dr. Jeffrey Dean Wilharm, MD

He put me on 7 different medications at once. I was a zombie. Then when I told him I can't function like that he started removing and adding multiple medications at the same time so there was no way to know what side effects were coming from what medications. It was a hot mess. I liked his bedside manner but most of the time I did not feel fully heard and appointment length was very inadequate. Please if you see this doctor do not let him put you on multiple medications all at once unless it is a true emergency and you are willing to risk hospitalization. I would not recommend anyone seeing this doctor he seems like just a pill pusher.

He is a great Doctor, he has treated for many years since my stroke. I would like to say he is a friend also. He has a lot of compassion,shakes my hand when I come in & shakes my hand before I leave, makes it seems personal.

I would rather have appointment later, knowing he will be in the office. My time is just as valuable as his.

When calling the E Ave office, staff was very rude!!!!! Not caring about my needs or wants. I called the Boyson Rd office and was treated nicely. Office staff was very rude and should not be tolerated.

Waited on average 1 hour past scheduled time and was only allotted 2 to 3 minutes with him before he ushered me out the door. When I didn't respond to the medication that I was on and refused to switch it I became more and more symptomatic and suffered greatly. Because of my condition I was unable to function at which he advised my dad to 'stop enabling him' and to 'put him out of the house'. He has no business saying this and should have just referred me to another doctor or changed my medications. He is incompetent beyond measure. If you have a child or young adult that needs help stay away from the Doctor named W I L (L) HARM. Because he does and your loved one's health and well being hang in the balance.

Did not get to the source of the problem, only medicated and feel this is inappropriate care.

Some people complain about the wait for Dr. Wilharm. But Psychiatry is an inexact science, and I would rather wait for him to take the time with each patient. He is willing to find out what the patient needs, and has experience with trying various combinations of drugs for the difficult-to-treat patients.
