Dr. Jeffrey Yoshihara, DDS

Jeff Yoshihara, DDS, is one of the highly-skilled dental surgeons that leads the team at Peninsula Dental Excellence located in Mountainview, California. He specializes in general, cosmetic, and reconstructive dentistry to meet the varied needs of his patients. Dr. Yoshihara, known by his patients as Dr. Jeff, was born and raised in Union City, California. He chose to stay local and attended the University of California, Berkeley, for his undergraduate career. He earned a degree in integrative biology at UC Berkeley and relocated to Southern California to attend the UCLA School of Dentistry in Los Angeles. After graduating, Dr. Jeff decided to move back to the Bay Area and has been practicing as a general dentist ever since. Dr. Jeff believes that patient education, understanding, and comfort are just as important as the quality of dentistry one receives, which is why he takes the time to discuss and review all treatment options with his patients. Dr. Jeff's goal is to work …collaboratively with patients and design treatment plans that best meet each individual's needs. While he is a perfectionist (an ideal quality to have in a dentist), Dr. Jeff is also very relaxed and can usually be found smiling or heard laughing around the office. Outside of his practice, Dr. Jeff enjoys weight lifting, photography, and fashion.
