I was just there yesterday and I was thrown out of his office because I told him I felt feverish even after the aide gauged my temperature and I was within normal range. He acts as if he is worried about covid yet his office is NOT covid compliant. And I thought it was just me but I can now see he just loves his junkies and pushes medications so they can come back to him. I hope he will eventually get put out of business as well as his unprofessional staff get fines for constantly violating HIPAA laws!

This place is awful, the staff is incompetent and only cares to prescribe you opioids and antidepressants as you can hear what the other “patients” are saying to the receptionist while in the waiting room. I was given an appointment after telling the woman over the phone my symptoms, I then show up to the appointment and they tell me that I can not be seen without getting a swab for COVID at an urgent care location. WHAT!?! I should have been told this over the phone instead of wasting my time here. The office is run down and not well maintained. Take your hard working insurance elsewhere!!! I REPEAT , believe all the bad reviews.

Completely wrong about a diagnosis.Without a blood test or any other diagnostic test to confirm his "diagnosis" Pathetically incompetent!

Dr. Tambor saved my life. He has a tremendous bedside manner and takes the time to address all concerns and needs.

I went to many doctors on staten island I not mention their names, that kept telling me my symptoms were depression and putting me on anti depression meds. And I was getting sicker by the day. I went to Dr Tambor because my sister advised me to go to him . He was the only Dr that took the right tests to find out I HAD LYME DISEASE!!! SO I THINK HE IS A CARING DR AND CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS. As soon as the results came back he called me in to his office to start my medication treatment.

The worst and I mean worst possible office and doctor. I went to this office for a while, my stomach turned every time I had to go. Dr Tambor is all about co-pays. He could care less about his patients, honestly. His staff are All white trash. They are rude to everyone. I don’t know how people like this are still in business. Not to mention, the office is extremely dirty, grossed me out when I seen the same blood on the wall for 6 months.

I’m in utter shock this guy has not had his medical license revoked. He will prescribe you ANYTHING you want. You start out getting your pain pills then when you become out of control he’ll then keep you hooked to his office for suboxone or subutex. He’ll keep you on this medication for years when you should only have been on it for a short period of time before weening off of that. You essentially become addicted to suboxone of subutex and you are cha- Ching $$$ for him and his office. You think he really cares about your well being? No. It’s all about your co pay and money he’s billing your insurance weekly and whatever kick backs he’s getting from the pharmaceutical reps. He is essentially a pill mill and every other reputable doctor on the island who hears his name shakes their head in dismay because he is not looked at in a good light from other local Physicians. They ALL know what he’s up to. Oh and the kicker here... you receive your prescription for suboxone and he’ll also… prescribe you a monthly script for ibuprofen 800!!! If your loved one needs help with addiction don’t allow them to receive treatment here!!

Insulting -receptionist told me to sit on the floor-overbooked & overcrowded

This doctor has not a single drop of respect for patients or people in general, extremely rude and does not know how to speak in a professional manner, i wouldn't recommend bringing a dying dog to this man. What a shame these doctors have not a drop of respect but will drain you for your money. @ DR.Tambor
