Caring and thorough

Dr. MILLER involves me in decisions about my health care. Dr. Miller explains my treatment for cancer clearly. Dr. Miller understands what cancer patients are going through as patients.

She is a good doctor, but seems to be spread too thinly. Was two hours late for a morning appointment. Nurse didn’t return a call left early morning. Standard of care is lacking.

We were told that our appointment time was 3:45 p.m. and we were told to check in by 3:30 p.m. Over two hours later, we were still sitting and waiting to see Dr. Miller. Once she finally came in, Dr. Miller spent a total of 20 minutes with us. She did not have any of my tests results, so she had not reviewed anything about my case. After waiting weeks for this appointment, I felt like it was a waste of my time and I still did not have any definitive information. If I could change Oncologist, I certainly would after this initial appointment. Very disappointed.

Dr Miller is the BEST! She takes the time to explain what's going on, what the plan of attack is, possible side effects of any treatments and/or medications...literally everything is covered! If you have questions, she takes the time to answer them honestly! She is straight-forward, but doesn't "talk down" to people...she's very compassionate & understanding.
