Dr. Jenna Banner, MD, FACOG

Please don’t go to her or her office. They employ the most hateful and judgemental doctors I’ve ever met. I’m in therapy for the way I was treated during my pregnancy and during my aftercare.

I have psychiatrist-diagnosed ptsd from her care-or lack there of. Please don’t see her if you value your pregnancy experience or birthing experience.

I’ve been seeing Dr Banner for 5 years. She’s always had great bed side manner, answers all my questions and gives me all the information I need to make the best decision for my care.

I wish I could go back in time and get another doctor. She was the absolute worst, no bedside manner, completely uncaring. I had to go to therapy to even be able to talk about the birth of my child-it went that badly. I can’t say it enough-find another doctor.

I love Dr. Banner she talks fast and knows so much and will answer any and all of my questions. It never feels like she's trying to rush out the door she'll stay and keep answering questions until I'm out of questions to ask. She talks fast and is very thorough. I've asked her all types of things and she always knows exactly what I'm talking about and can address the concern. I asked about getting tubes tied, she told me about latest research where they now take the entire tube. But that does make it completely permanent. I asked her about episiotomies and she said she's only ever had to do one and it's not common practice for her. That was a breath of fresh air. She allows VBACs! sadly I didn't get to have one but her c-section technique was great my incision healed really well and the stitches came out quickly after. She cares and is very nice.

The office is always polite, and easy to get an appointment or reschedule when I need to. When they switched offices, they sent two letters and an email. So it was easy to adjust. I’ve always been seen on time for my appointment. I see Dr Banner once or twice a year, but she always remembers me. When she met with me the first time, she took a lot of extra time to get to know me and explain my diagnosis and treatment options. I’ve been seeing her for three years, and always felt well cared for.

Only spends about 5-6 minutes in the room, no Bed Side Manner, not friendly other than her first introduction when she walks into the room. I was rescheduled due to being 20 minutes late but I called and they told me it would be okay. When I got into the building the elevators were acting crazy and I waited a while until an elevator opened up to take me up. I explained this to the ladies up front but that didn’t matter to them. I am 16 weeks pregnant with my second child also delivered by this doctor and although they offered me another “open spot” the same day I still had to wait there until my new appointment time. There were no patients and they couldn’t have seen me sooner than to have me sit there and wait. When I finally got called back (I think it was a power trip for this doctor to have me wait until my new scheduled appointment time maybe to teach me a lesson) the nurse gets my vitals and she also seemed frustrated. I get taken back into a room and I can hear the nurse… and Dr Banner talking about me because of my problem I came in for. This isn’t the first time I have heard these ladies talk about other patients, but this time it was me and it felt ugly. I stayed for my appointment to get seen for my symptoms but I am getting my records and going to another doctor. I don’t even want to leave one star but I will because they did call my prescription in quick. Also this time I have a Medicaid insurance and I feel like this time around she isn’t as nice to me as the first time when I had United Healthcare insurance.

She's always been attentive and caring and explaining results I'm comfortable with her also

She does not show her pt. That She cares at all !! So un organized , I can never get a hold of her !! I was bleeding and called her office twice they said we will leave the nurse a message and will call you back and so they never did , I called them and the respond was dr. said u have to go to the ER. Did not even apologies about not getting back to me or check on me as her patient!! Also they called me two days befor my appointment said they will have to change time of my appointment and I said ok and had to change plans to help her out !! Then I went to my appointment and the weather was too bad and rainy and traffic was very bad too so I called them and let them know and they said ok by the time I arrived there 5 minutes late over the giving time they were like dr. Can’t take u !! I said but I’m bleeding I needed to be checked and I had called y’all and y’all already changed my original appointment time so I worked with y’all and u don’t work with me after driving so long , and… never been late to any of my appointments this is my 1st time , the lady closed the window and blow air out of her mouth to where I could hear it then she said dr. Said I can’t I have to leave so it’s up to you If u want reschedule, I said I don’t appreciate this service anymore, how can I trust her if she never cares , never there for her patients ? When I went to the ER they couldn’t get a hold of her and each time I call having pain or any symptoms they say go to the ER , I’m I a patient of the ER or yalls clinic ??? I had 3 kids with other dr. I never had that issue before!!! I’m sorry but if any one ask me I would worry to recommend this dr. For them because this is people’s life it’s not a game , dr. Have to be organized, kind and professional!!
