Dr. Jennie Faber, MD

Poor bedside manner, does not thoroughly explain or answer questions. Does not discuss all the options. If you ask she answers begrudgingly and in a patronizing manner. Does the minimum. Had to go back multiple times to be treated properly for something basic.

I do not recommend this practice or Jennie Faber. I waited for 45 minutes before I was seen, twice! Jennie Faber was nasty, and not pleasant to work with. I came in for a routine checkup and was stuck with a $900 bill that was unexpected. The staff was not willing to resolve the issue. Not recommended.

I am satisfied with the services rendered by Dr. Faber. She is patient and has answered all my questions. She is straight forward no beating around the bush... I’m very comfortable with her...

It’s so unfortunate, because the office staff and her fellow obs are fantastic but I guess it was my luck to have her as the oncall when I went into labor. It was over the holidays and she was the delivering on over the entire weekend, I know because I asked the nurse when they would switch to one of the other obs in hopes of avoiding her. My nurse said she would never wish a 36 hour labor on anyone but even if I had that unfortunately Dr. Faber would still be the one to deliver our baby. It all started when we showed up to the hospital. She sent me back home saying it was way too early for my water to break. An hour later I went back to the hospital and she confirmed it was a rupture and that I would be having the baby pre-term after all. My husband at this point mentioned her unprofessionalism but I tried to make excuses for her and thought maybe we were juss being nervous first time parents etc. Turns out he was 100% right, and this was just the start. She tried to run a… genetic test on me, refusing to give me the cpt code so I could reference it with my insurance to make sure it’s covered. The test had nothing to do with the immediate safety of myself or my child, and she seemed to catch an attitude when I declined the test bcus my insurance company informed me that without a code the test may not be covered and cost $1000 out of pocket. This was strike 2. Strike 3, my birth plan was ignored entirely!! I had requested that I labor down and not be forced to push unless obviously the baby was in imminent danger. She walked into my room and woke me up from a nap and said we are pushing now. Didn’t give me time to put my hair up out of my face or even to catch my husband up to speed (he had also been sleeping only to wake up to her rushing us for no good reason). The nurse (who was such a blessing to have in the midst of this horrible experience) also noticed her behavior and kept trying to make eye contact with me so that She can distract me from her and keep me calm and collected. Midway through one of the pushes as she was counting me down, Dr Faber stopped counting and said “I’m tired somebody else count”. I kid you not, and I think this was the point where my husband and I both came to the realization of exactly what we were dealing with. Unprofessional is an understatement. Once again, cue the amazing nurse who kept me focused and talked me through the breathing and counting of pushes. My birth plan included delayed cord clamping, and being that my baby was a preemie I insisted on it even more. As soon as the baby was out dr Faber motioned for my husband to come over and cut the cord “now or I will”. By that point I wanted nothing more to do with her and wanted her out of my room ASAP. When I was being discharged a few days later, to my luck once again she was the ob in charge. She came in the room to discuss my follow up care and discharge instructions to which she asked if I had any questions. I reached for my phone since that’s where I wrote down all my concerns and said that I had a list of questions to which she responded “I’m sure the nurse can answer those for you”. Sorry for the lengthy review, but if I can save anyone from the experience my husband and I had then it was worth writing. What should have been a joyous milestone in our lives turned out to be a stressful time (and avoidable in my opinion) thanks to her unwelcome presence. If you show up to the hospital and she is the OB in charge of deliveries I suggest you run in the opposite direction to a different hospital. Sad to say if I have any future pregnancies I will not be attending Aurora Women’s Health because the possibility of having her deliver another baby is just too much for me to deal with.

Dr. Faber is by far the most caring doctor that I have ever had! My first visit was a great experience. The staff was friendly, the rooms were extremely clean and I did not have to wait very long after completing the paperwork before I was being escorted to the room. Dr. Faber took ample time to listen to me and explain her answers. I very highly recommend Dr. Faber to women of all ages. You will be satisfied!

Dr. Faber is by far the best OB ever. I do not trust anyone else but her. I always see her in a timely fashion. She is caring and compassionate. Shes the only doctor i have ever had who will auctually take time out of her day to call and speak to her patients. Love love love her!!!

I did not have a good birth experience with Dr. Faber. I felt that she talked down to me, treated me like a child and disregarded my wishes and opinions about my birth process. Worst part was that she performed an internal exam on me during what was labeled as my "high risk labor" moments before informing me that she was coming down with a stomach virus. I truly believe my c section could have been avoided with a doctor that was more patient and open to communication.

Dr. Faber delivered my twins and she was wonderful throughout the entire experience. She was calm and helped to allay all our fears during the delivery, which could have been a nerve-wrecking episode for a pair of first-timers. She is skilled in handling difficult situations and her bedside manner was great. I would recommend her unreservedly.

I began seeing Dr. Faber when I was a teen because I had horrific periods. She was calm and reassured me that everything would be alright. I am now in my 20s and I will have her as my GYN until location or retirement do us part :) She is thorough and she actually listens to her patients. I recommend her, especially for young girls who will be seeing a GYN for the first time. Dr. Faber makes scary sounding things not so scary at all. The front desk staff could be a bit m ore cordial but nothing too terrible. The wait times aren't always the greatest either but I feel like much of that is due to her being thorough with each patient.

She made my first GYN experience a pleasant one! She gave options of two different birth control pills that would suit me, and then gave me the option based on the side effects/ pros/ cons.. etc. She talks in a soothing voice, and was gentle. The entire exam took 4 minutes.
