Dr. Jennifer Tomlinson Allen, MD

This review is way overdue. As it's an emotional one for me. In 2018 I arrived to AU by ambulance from doctor's hospital after it was discovered my placenta and uterus was rupturing. My obgyn I had during my pregnancy failed to see why I was hemorrhaging for hours it seemed, and why my preterm labor could not be stopped for a second time, even with 2 magnesium drips going in each arm. Fate brought Dr Allen into that OR and thanks to her, me and my 31 weeker are alive to tell the tale. I will forever be grateful to her! Always! I was in a very delicate shape after being told I arrived to her at death's doorstep, but she made me comforted at my follow ups when tasked with explaining how deadly and disastrous another pregnancy could be for me, something that's just as hard to tell a woman as it is to hear it I would imagine. Her and her staff was nice and accommodating, which can make you feel even more out of sorts having to get use to a new doctor and surroundings all of a sudden after… 7 months of visits elsewhere all while visiting a NICU everyday has you emotional enough. No words could ever clealy express my deep deep gratitude!

I really love Dr. Allen! She is helpful and knowledgeable and really advocates for her patients. She was recommended to me by a friend and I now recommend Dr. Allen to all my friends. She is an excellent OB/GYN and I am so grateful for her expertise and kindness.

I made an appointment with Dr. Tomlinson, to get a second opinion, after being told of a procedure that I needed. She came in and was very friendly and caring. She asked questions to get to know me and also answered every question that I had. She performed a procedure and made me very comfortable and seemed very knowledgeable about what she was doing. I would recommend her to anyone and believe she has a bright future ahead of her. I will be returning!
