Dr. Jennifer Hess Barlow, MD

De Barlow is absolutely the best she did what she said she was going to do . After I loss my son Jacob David Derrickson 6/12/2006 she also delivered my daughter she is 24 in October. She really care for our babies . Thank you Jennifer Barlow for everything . Sincerely Michele Adkins Derrickson

Dr Barlow has been my GYN for many years. She takes time to listen, asks questions and assures my care is up to date. With a complex history she has added on tests or asked to follow up to assure my health.

On a routine annual exam that Dr Barlow found normal, she suggested I have an ultrasound of my uterus and ovaries.She based that on my family history. The ultrasound found endometrial hyperplasia which led to a D&C and a trip to an oncologist. Dr Barlow may have saved my life by taking the extra steps. She repeatedly told me to call if I had any questions.

Dr Barlow is not my Dr, but was the only one avail on the days that I could have my prenatal appointment. Several times I complained to her about pain & she just brushed it off like its normal without even checking me. A few weeks later I gave birth at 19 weeks & my son died. I cant say that she is the blame, but maybe if she listened to me & checked me more when I complained, it may have been prevented. Lesson learned.

I have been having several issues as i grow older and Dr. Barlow has been wonderful in helping me deal with all the changes and options. Spent time with me discussing options and listened to what I was saying and my fears associated with my options.

Dr. Barlow is NOT my dr, but she was on call and did my c-section. I have questions about some things that happen during and after the operation, and I can NOT get anyone in her office to call me back to get answers. Its been a week and 2 phone calls. The message for the nurse actually says, the more you call the longer it can take to get back to you. *If I get answers, or not, I will repost my experience* Good luck.

I have ben a pt of Dr Barlow's for the past several years. I recently suffered through a miscarriage, and Dr Barlow could not even return my phone calls.

She caused me to almost lose my baby an thanks to her I still might an now I have no choice but to give birth prematurely due to to choices.

Dr. Barlow needs to give more factual information to patients about having a c-section.
