About Jennifer Bickle

During her first human biology class her sophomore year of high school, Jennifer Bickle, NP, decided on a career in medicine. “Although I initially dreamed of becoming a teacher, my growing love for science, especially human biology, led me to explore nursing as a way to combine both passions,” she says.

Jennifer earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing at Goshen College (IN). She is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

When she began her career, Jennifer worked with people of all ages. She eventually began to specialize in child and adolescent medicine. “I am drawn to the opportunity to support both children and their families through education, preventive care and advocacy, helping them thrive physically, emotionally and developmentally,” Jennifer says. She hopes her patients know that she is with them on their journey and that they are never alone in their care.

Jennifer says her patients …have shaped her into a more compassionate, patient and reflective practitioner. “My patients have been some of my greatest teachers,” she says. From them she has learned that health care is not just about treating illnesses. “It is about building relationships, honoring dignity and walking alongside people through their most vulnerable moments.”
