Very rude and unprofessional

A good doctor knows the truth. Dr. Brockman saw the truth. We dont always want to hear the truth.LOL. She saved me and my job. Doctors can hurt or help in many ways. Bottom line is she helped. All that really matters. My experience with all her staff and her was Great.

It was a wonderful experience, the office manager Cheri is the best. Kind, caring, always there to help. The doctor was GREAT, gave me all the time I needed. Didn't push medicine down my throat, gave me options and really made me feel like I had control of my care. Finally a office that listens to you and goes out of their way to help. 24/7 care is what you get at the office. Great Team

No Help! Just an interview, and a poor diagnosis.

Tried to reach this doctor several times, and all I got was the answering machine. She never called back.

Working in the medical profession, I have never experienced such a rude office manager. Our company just requested medical records for a patient and put the wrong office name on the form, in error, even though there is a website for the kirkwood location for Independent psychiatric consultants, with the kirkwood phone number and fax number. We got a phone call from Cheri, rudely yelling at us accusing us of falsifying records requests. That is not the case. When we faxed over the correct information, she called again and yelled at another employee for falsifying information and hung up on her. Never have we ever experienced anyone so hostile and rude about medical records and we request medical records on a weekly basis, sometimes even more. Dr Brockman you may have some decent reviews for your practice, but your office manager is not portraying your business in a good light at all. I suggest an attitude adjustment or hiring someone who is a lot more positive and able to deal… with all types of situations in a good manner.

I have been a patient of Dr. Brockman's now for almost 2 years and she is a thousand times better than my two previous doctors. She understands my adult ADD and how best to treat it so I can be the professional I need to be. Great staff, very organized, very professional, and Dr. Brockman is a very friendly and easy to understand person.

Dr Brockman was relatively helpful at handling my very mild case of depression. However, her treatment plan was very long and drawn out. Towards the end, she decided she would not be taking insurance anymore. I had my last appointment scheduled to end treatment and received a phone call from Sherry (who is the sweetest person ever) explaining that Dr Brockman had to go on vacation and we would need to reschedule. With my hectic schedule, nothing ever lined up with the limited availability of the Dr, and I never was able to go for my last session (which I really felt I didnt need at $135 for a few minutes to say "Im all better"). A year later, I have a nasty gram in the mail saying I am no longer welcome in her office because I didnt finish treatment, and I have a bill due! I call the number on the bill to pay, and they no longer handle the account. I have a voicemail, with a gentleman with a very heavy accent giving me a phone number to call for collections- Ive listend to it ten… times and tried to decpher the number to no avail. It seems Dr Brockman is the utmost caring physician while your checkbook is open, but has terrible follow through in my experience. I would LOVE to pay the bill today, and cease all contact, but due to limited office hours, it seems I once again have wasted my time in attempting to do business with her. I will have to hope I can answer my phone the next time the collections people call, and pray this ordeal will not hurt my credit.

This doctor overcharged me (200% of what was quoted) and would not release medical records to other physicians.
