Dr. Jennifer Elizabeth Byer, MD

I needed Dr. Beyer to send a letter to BlueCross to justify a $500 bill of tests she ordered. BlueCross says this is a normal procedure. I spent 6+ months going round and round between Beyer's office, Quest and BlueCross. Then, Quest sent my bill to a collection agency. I immediately paid the 500 but all Beyer had to do is do a routine letter to BCBS.

Not satisfied at all with her response time when you call. Friendly in office but I don’t have a lot of confidence.

Dr. Byer was recommended by my GP. Coincidentally she trained under my surgeon at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, who was excellent, so I feel confident in her training. Dr. Byer is observant, listens carefully, clarifies her understanding (and at this point is head and shoulder above many people), and gives thoughtful advice with careful explanation. I didn't feel rushed out of her office or slapped with a generic diagnosis or treatment. Bonus: she comes across as patient and kind.

Dr. Byer came highly recommended by a doctor I was seeing at Moffit in Tampa, FL. At first I was reluctant but loved her from the moment I met her. Don’t be concerned by the fact that she is a young doctor...she knows her stuff. I trust her judgment completely when I comes to my care. She always takes the time to answer all of my questions and I never feel rushed. She is one of the most kind, caring and compassionate doctors I’ve ever met. Highly recommended! Stacy F.
