Dr Carter will take the time to hear you and care for you. She will follow through and her staff extends the same professionalism. I depend on Dr Carter and Portsmouth Internal Medicine.

Dr. Carter is an excellent physician as well as being a very kind person. She personalizes each visit to me. She is very compassionate as well. I am very lucky to have Dr. Carter as my PCP.

Dr. Carter is a true professional who takes the time to provide you with the best care possible. She listens to what you have to say, and follows up with her recommendations very quickly.

I've been a patient of Dr. Carter's for the past 4 years. She is hands down the best primary care doctor I've ever had. Though she has a very professional manner, she is also very caring and concerned, and doesn't hesitate to refer me to other doctors/specialists if she feels it necessary. I'm treated with respect always. On the few times that she has been unavailable, her office arranges for me to be seen by another capable physician in the team, always in a timely manner.

Dr. Carter was the first doctor to recognize tne illness that had not been properly identified by many PCP's and specialists . She cares about her patients as though they were her family. Very easy to talk to because she asks questions and listens to your answers. I flew back from the west coast for my annual visit. She is an excellent physician and I wish all of my doctors were as kind and smart as she is.

I have seen Dr. Carter three times. Each time I felt that she listened to me and was interested in my concerns. I've never felt rushed.
