Jennifer R. Castello, MSN, CRNP, joined the Beacham Center for Geriatric Medicine in 2025. She is a highly experienced and accomplished nurse practitioner with a specialized focus in geriatrics, bringing over two decades of clinical and leadership expertise in long-term care, skilled rehabilitation, and continuing care retirement communities. She has led multidisciplinary teams in multiple roles, including Clinical Service Manager at Optum and Nurse Practitioner Team Lead at Gilchrist Elder Medical Care. Her pioneering work includes establishing new NP roles, developing educational programs, and spearheading quality improvement initiatives that have enhanced patient care. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland and is a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner. Her commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care, leadership in complex geriatric settings, and focus on disease prevention and health promotion make her a perfect fit …for the Beacham Center.
