Dr. Jennifer Chang

She does not do A1C in the office - have to go to an outside lab. She said they'd send the order the lab. The lab ever got it. Called to notify office (several times) ahead of my follow up appointment with her to let them know the lab never got the order and to send/resend - never got a call back. Went to appointment, paid my co-pay - got nothing out of it since there was no lab result. Cycle back to beginning of the story - lab still doesn't have order for A1C. Horrible service all the way around. She won't or is unable to answer questions. No bedside manner, no empathy. Looking elsewhere now for diabetic care.

I was a patient of Dr. Chang for 6 months or so until I found out she was sabotaging my ability to get an insulin pump by refusing to submit the paperwork for approval until I met some unnamed criteria of her own.

I have been a patient of Dr Chang since 2014. She is the most informed, professional, intelligent, compassionate endocrinologist I have ever worked with. Since starting with Dr Chang my A1C has dramatically improved. She is up to date on all of the latest diabetic technologies. She and her staff always assist me with ways to better manage my blood sugar. I am so thankful to have them on my team.

I would not go back

The doctor is not one to answer questions nor take too much time with your concerns. The staff is so so.....very difficult to get an appointment.
