Dr. Jennifer Cheng, MD

To all parents, Avoid Dr. Jennifer Cheng at all cost. My toddler is 4 years old and she has been her primary doctor since she was born. During one afternoon, she suddenly developed a bad cough and we called her office to bring her in without an appt. Her office policy is that she won't accept walk in after 4pm. We got there at 4pm. The receptionist refused to take us. We PLEADED with the dr and the receptionist to take us or at least prescribe some medication. After 2 hours wait time, the Dr. Cheng came out and argue with us that we need to leave and to take my toddler ER. This is a cough, you don't go to ER for cough. Dr. Cheng said she's too busy, and refused to see us after 2 hour wait time. We had no choice but to take my toddler to another doctor, by which time, she developed a 103 fever and the cough got worst. It turned out she had a bad cold and her throat was swollen and raw. Now, as her PRIMARY doctor, she could not spare the 10 minutes to see a toddler?!!!!! … Instead, she turned away a toddler because she was too busy. As a doctor, you took an oath to save lives and if someone was sick and waiting for you for 2 hours, you could have taken the 10 minutes to see the patient. Not to mention, you were the doctor since the toddler was born! She is an horrible horrible person and does not deserve to be a doctor. period.
