Dr. Jennifer DeVore

Jennifer DeVore is a Licensed Clinical Social worker in the states of Kentucky and Indiana. She graduated from the University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work in 2019. Since that time, Jennifer has held positions in community mental health and group private practice, most recently employed as an independent contractor. Jennifer offers TELEHEALTH appointments to individuals living in Indiana and Kentucky.Prior to becoming a therapist, Jennifer worked for nonprofits in various positions in outreach and communications. She led the outreach effort that grew the presence of Kentucky Waterways Alliance, an environmental nonprofit fighting water pollution, in the Louisville, Kentucky area. After leaving that job to take some time off and recalibrate, she went down a path to become a therapist. This decision turned her world upside down. The journey from burnout to a late in life ADHD diagnosis at age 44 was hard earned. Jennifer hopes to pay her experience forward so that other women …with undiagnosed ADHD can get the support they need to heal and start thriving in life.Her mission is to be a part of the change in recognizing, diagnosing, and treating neurodivergent girls and women. We need to do better to bridge the gap that currently exists for females seeking an ADHD diagnosis, and the treatment that they deserve once they have it.Her own journey to an ADHD diagnosis later in life has enriched her ability to serve other women on this path. She helps neurodivergent women take control of their lives and destinies by leading them through the grieving process of a delayed diagnosis, embracing the strategies, systems and supports they need to thrive, and accepting both their strengths and struggles with compassion, forgiveness, and resilience.
