Was extremely patient, understanding and thorough with my 88 year old mother. Couldn't be happier with this Doctor and her staff.

This doctor is inflexible about procedures. She requires additional services for the doctor's convenience whether the patient needs them or not. The office is highly regimented about specific ways of doing things, instead of patient centered and accommodating. Setting up a procedure from the time of referral took more than a month. The staff doing scheduling were clipped in responses and failed to note patient requests. Waiting time for a call back to answer the patient's questions ranged from 3 days to more than a week. In one case the staff member never called back. For a colonoscopy, the system made no allowances for special patient needs. Any alternative medications for preparing in advance were rejected. The doctor specifically rejected patient options for the procedure. In specific, the doctor refused to allow the patient to undergo the procedure without sedation, requiring the drugs for the doctor's efficiency or inability to interact with the patient during the procedure. The… doctor's practice follows the old-fashioned "we're the boss" mentality, instead of allowing patients a voice in their own treatment. Not recommended.
