Dr. Jennifer Carol Dunbar, MD

Dr. Dunbar is one of the smartest and finest Drs ive been fortunate enough to know. The first negative review was accurate. Dr. Dunbar was the only full time DR in the practice. She was trying to see patients of the other doctor.and keep the practice going. She ended up leaving the practice. I wish I could find her but she is listed as still being there. In fact, she’s been gone for about 2 years.

I would give this practice and Doctor a triple zero rating. I left this practice after 8 years. Dr. Dunbar works only part time. It is impossible to get an appointment with her unless you schedule 6-12 months ahead. At one visit I sat in the exam room for 90 minutes. During that time I could hear Dr Dunbar at the nurses station discussing the computer problems. I did leave. Never received a call from her with an apology. When she does see you she is always in a rush. The office staff is very inefficient. They do not process referrals. Had to call at one point 3 times before they finally processed it. Several times I called for a same day or next day appointment with any of the doctors or the NP. I was told by the office staff they were all busy and to go to immediate care. I did that and still needed further treatment. Immediate care will only see you one time for that particular diagnosis. They told me to go to primary Doctor. I again called Dr. Dunbar's… office only to be told it would be 5 days before they had an appointment. I made the appointment with one of her associates. The MA who checked me in asked if I had planned to change from Dr. Dunbar. Being curious, I asked why. She told me the physician I was seeing that day would be leaving the practice. She was an excellent physician who had been with the practice for a year. This physician told me the practice did not provide quality care to their patients and she would be returning to Wisconsin! Don't believe the reviews on line. I have been on the medical profession for 25 years. I would have been out of a job if I had treated patients with the disrespect and inefficiency as I received at this office. Ignore the one star. Triple zero is my rating.

Dr. Dunbar cares about her patients. Spends time discussing my diagnosis and always reviews my medical history. She is excellent.

Excellent care from a caring physician.

I would be very cautious about seeing this doctor and going to this office. Not only did I receive horrible care from her, but three of my neighbors had the same problem. We were at a Homeowner's meeting sharing horror stories of the complete lack of concern and lack of care from Dr. Dumbar and her office. Her license should be revoked.

I am amazed of the complete lack of caring at this office. First of all, if you leave a message with the doctor's assistant (which is required because you never get a live voice) the message states they will return your call within three business days. That is enough to cause anxiety in any patient that is having medical issues. I left several messages and never received a call. Finally after my third attempt I finally reached a live person. That person told me the doctor would try to call me back by tomorrow. In the meantime, I am in great pain and need some assistance. I begged the girl to have the doctor call me that day as I needed some help as soon as possible. She told me she would try. Of course that didn't happen. The second day it is 2pm and I still have not heard from the doctor or her assistant on what I can do to relieve the pain. I am simply wanting the name of a specialist that I can go to and they can't even give me that. It is a shame because I have always… received good service from Dr. Adams and Dr. Kaissar, but I would NEVER go back to Dr. Dunbar if my life depended on it.
