Dr. Jennifer Kristine Dy, DO

I've seen Dr. Dy for eight years. Though I loved her at first, it's time to move on. The office has become consistently worse. Too many mistakes. I waited over an hour to see her yesterday and was about to walk out. After a perfunctory apology, she quipped that "it's always a problem the first day back from vacation." The staff varies except for Denise at the front desk, who is solid gold.

Dr. Dy is by far the worst physician I have ever encountered. She seems like a nice person and smart but she is very much in need of additional training on how to listen to her patients and answer questions. Dr. Dy consistently - at every office visit - would lecture me and became visibly angry anytime I asked a question. She once spent over 20 minutes lecturing me about getting the COVID vaccine even though I told her I had received it! If you want to just do what you are told, she is probably going to be o.k. But, if you want to understand why she has reached a diagnosis or is recommending a course of treatment, I would stay away from her because she does respond well to questions. I fou

Dr. Dy was a great doctor, some of her staff are very lacking in office capabilities. They messed up my prescription twice causing me time with no medicine. Twice! I ended up paying for medicine I didn't need. They don't listen to answers to their questions. Is a great doctor enough??

She takes time and 'hears' me.

I have never felt rushed. I have always felt heard. The office staff is great. I will see her as long as I am able.

While it is a rather long wait to see Dr. Dy it is always worth the wait. She is amazing, you can tell she cares and the reason the wait can be long is she really attends to her patients. I am very happy with her and I thinks it's amazing to have such a great doctor in Summit County.
