Dr. Jennifer Mary Fauntleroy, MD

Being a patient of Ms Fauntleroy, I have encountered no check ins and you are supposed to sit in a waiting area and wait 20 to 30 minutes before she comes out of her office to greet you. She does not say hello and often attacks me if I am talking with her about prescriptions that should have been called in or given to me. She will insult you and make you feel low if you decide you no longer want counseling. Your feelings are not valid to her. She will remove you from bring her practice and yell at you as to why you as the patient have not reached out to other doctors to continue your care. It amazes me as a patient that, I apparently am in charge of this although she is a psychiatrist. There is minimal communication between doctor/ patient care. I find her to be way to old school and uncaring if you don’t agree with her. I further don’t recommend her to anyone, I have been on the same medication as I started her practice with and she is unwilling to try new meds for a patient with… major depression. She says counseling is so very helpful. It is not for everyone. If it has not worked for someone for over 20 years and you kick someone to the curb because you don’t want it anymore,,, how is this helping a patient!
