Led by Dr. Jennifer Geoghegan, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Oasis Plastic Surgery (OPS) located in Scottsdale, Arizona is dedicated to providing the highest level medical care with a warm and personalized approach. We believe that finding a surgeon who is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, is the first step. Dr. Geoghegan, one of the few female plastic surgeons in Arizona, completed her plastic and reconstructive surgery training at the historic University of Texas Medical Branch and additional aesthetic fellowship training here in Scottsdale, Arizona. She strives to combine her surgical skill and artistic flare to achieve natural appearing results after open communication with her patients.

Everyone …always asks me two questions, â€œHow do you pronounce your name?â€ and â€œWhy did you become a plastic surgeon?â€ Geoghegan is a surname of Irish origin pronounced [gaygan]. The truth is I tried out many specialties in medical school before deciding on plastic surgery. I grew up thinking I would become a heart transplant surgeon, the idea of saving lives was enticing; then I considered Obstetrics and loved delivering babies and bringing new life into the world, next I spent time with a pediatric surgeon and was pretty sure that I was headed in that direction. But then my mentor at the time suggested I try a plastic surgery rotation, I was hesitant at first, but by the third day I was hooked. I love variety and plastic surgery is just that. We treat infants, teenagers, baby-boomers, men, women and we don't just get to operate on one area of the body, we treat faces, breasts, hands, abdomen and extremities. You can choose to do surgeries to correct congenital anomalies, do reconstruction for breast cancer, skin cancer, car accidents or perform cosmetic procedures that keep people looking as young as they feel. Every day is different, every patient is different and I love that my job is to work with that person to figure it all out.
