Jennifer Daugherty Goins

This is my personal experience and opinion with Jennifer Goins, FNP, Endocrinology Consultants of East Tennessee. This review applies only to this specific provider and not the group as a whole. Jennifer's bedside manner was genuinely one of the worst of the over 100 medical providers I have seen. Her communication came across as cold, abrupt, and at times almost intentionally insulting — after one visit, I had to sit in my car for several minutes just to get my vitals down enough to feel safe driving. If a provider makes you more anxious walking out than you were walking in, that's a problem. In my opinion, she leans on scare tactics rather than reassurance, and it honestly felt like something she enjoyed rather than avoided. No basic "hello, good to see you" — just bursting into the exam room in a way that felt more like an interrogation. And more than once, she asked me what we should do next for my own treatment. That's not collaborative care; that's a provider not doing the job… I am paying for. In my opinion, Jennifer Goins, FNP is a rude and unprofessional provider who is a disgrace to this otherwise excellent practice that should be avoided.
