Dr. Jennifer Grodberg, MD

Dr. Grodberg is exceptional. If you are frustrated about your current doctor’s accessibility and “have to get to my next patient’s” attitude, switch to Dr. Grodberg. She is compassionate, experienced, accessible and gives her patients all the time they need. She gives her patients the courtesy and respect they deserve. My wife and I are truly satisfied patients and feel privileged to have her as our doctor.

Short Story: I was denied my prescription that I've taken for 6 years abruptly with no forewarning whatsoever. Her office lied about communicating this info to the pharmacist. Negligent incompetence combined with an arrogant power-trip by Grodberg and her staff. I saw Grodberg when I first moved to Boulder and she continued one of my prescriptions that I had already been on for a number of years. After the last year+ of being on it I suddenly found out my prescription had been denied. Once I went to the pharmacy I was informed that I needed to go see Grodberg for an appointment. Her office told me they had told the pharmacy on the last few refill occasions that they wanted me to come for an aptmt to keep fulfilling the refills. I had to wait a number of days before I could get an apptmt. I found out Thursday, couldn't get an appointment until Tuesday (she wasn't working Monday). I checked with the pharmacist and he even showed me what was sent from her office. There was… nothing about scheduling an appointment. Their office lied to cover their own mistake. Not only this but she decided it would be prudent to deny a patient their prescription with no forewarning whatsoever. All this for what seemed like a power trip combined with staff incompetence. I dealt with the withdrawal symptoms of cold-turkey being taken off a prescription drug for a few days (nausea, dizziness, extreme irritability, anger, loss of appetite, sweating, unable to focus, electric shocks). When she came into the appointment (45 minutes late) she immediately started verbally berating me about how I spoke to her secretary (while I was going through the aforementioned withdrawal symptoms). One of the most patronizing, unprofessional conducts I've ever experienced. I wish I could give less than 1 star. Please avoid this doctor and preferably this hospital. (Boulder Community Help provides much better care and treatment.)

I was looking for a new doctor after leaving Kaiser and after some searching found Dr. Grodverg. I'm glad I did. In a relatively short time, she's been so helpful to me in a number of ways. Including, recommending tests that Kaiser never even mentioned. I've come to believe that Kaiser was not serving me by their very conservative, cost-conscious approach. I 'm also working with a naturopath and Dr. Grodberg is open-minded about Functional Medicine approaches and has welcomed the outside perspectives that I've relayed to her. My wife has a similarly positive assessment of Dr. Grodberg.

She's amazing, that's all I can say. Personal, caring, warm, determined to find out what's behind my problems. I was on a high dose of pain killers and without her I could never have gone down as much as I have. She spends so much time and grapples with out of state prescriptions and all kinds of complicated, time consuming stuff without a complaint. I'm so grateful to her. She couldn't be better.

Dr GRODBERG is an excellent doctor kind compassionate and spends time with you at each visit I highly recommend her and miss her at lutheran medical center.

Dr. Grodberg is an incredible physician and person. I highly recommend her. She is smart, caring, and very available outside of the office.

This my doctor for the last 3 years I like her and I Can bring my Mom and she treat her also..very happy..
