Dr. Jennifer Hailey, DO

Saw her in 2019 via Dr on demand and sent me on a terrible trajectory. All in all, she was the least helpful medical professional I’ve probably ever had the displeasure of needing service from. I was dismissed and cut off, told I was lazy and didn’t want to be better badly enough, switch my mental health medications every 2 weeks without weaning or listening to the side effects I was experiencing. All in all, she slapped me with a psycho-somatic disorder and sent me on my way back to work with terrible work restrictions that made my life so much worse. Years later, turns out I’m now diagnosed with a bunch of real physical conditions and disorders. Turns out it wasn’t all just in my head or me being lazy, it was undiagnosed AuDHD, POTs dysautonomia, fibromyalgia, migraine disorder, endometriosis, a connective tissue disorder, and more. I truly believe she’s just interested in cookie cutter appointments of grilling people to make her own ego feel better about her own struggles in life… (which is what most of our sessions were spent on, how she worked extra shifts to pay for her own early age therapy and what she would do in my place “because I’m clearly not trying hard enough to get better”.) I haven’t seen this provider since 2019 but this is how much of a negative impact she had on me in my darkest times, that I’d make sure someone has a chance to see this review before allowing her to break another person down via psychiatry when real physical conditions are present she’s not trained (or willing) to see. Do not ever book with her, seriously.

I just needed someone to refill the meds I'm already on and that work just fine. So I didn't think about looking at reviews for this person before hand. I should have. She was by far one of the rudest psychiatrists I have ever talked to. She was grilling me about my pre-medication symptoms. Told me that my motivation and attention issues where circumstantial when I was talking about my adhd. She asked me how I got the bipolar diagnosis. When I told her one of the lightbulb moments was how my prescribed adderall triggered mania. She told me that adderall doesn't trigger mixed episodes or mania in bipolar patients (the fda, my therapist, and multiple studies would like to disagree with that statement) Overall felt like she was trying to discredit my diagnoses. When she finally got around to refilling my meds she made a comment about how 3-months worth of refills was a lot of pills. I don't know what her angle was there. Trying to make me feel bad about the dose I take for my medication?

I'm not a review person. But if I can spare Just one person from this lady's rude aggressive style!!! First five minutes into this call I knew she did not care for us. She was rude, was raising her voice at my daughter because she wasn't speaking up....my poor depressed daughter was nervous and actually broke down in tears. When she had a difficult time expressing her emotions (as mist young people do who are dealing with big emotions) she got annoyed and was showing her frustration. So unprofessional. She ended the session 20 minutes into what was supposed to be a 45 minute session. My daughter is officially turned off to seeking help now!!!

Google her and listen to the other reviews. If possible, stay away from this Dr. She claims to be compassionate and kind but that was defiantly not my experience. She was rude, non logical, and did more harm then good by me seeing her. She has a long way to go herself before she should be trying to help others in my opinion. Stay away.

I sincerely hope that no one else has to encounter this woman. I’m usually the last to speak I’ll of other women, but I cannot express in words how vile a person you have to be to turn away a depressed person quite literally begging for your help, as a “professional”. She cut our meetings short multiple times and argued with me about my own mental problems and then refused to help me. She should not be in the practice if she is incapable of doing her job.

Spoke to Dr. Hailey via Doctor on Demand. I have never met a more abrasive, rude psychiatrist in my life. Do not recommend. Someone like her should not be treating individuals for mental health.

Never had to wait, always took enough time with me, never felt rushed. All around great doctor
