Dr. Jennifer Kjar Hepp, DO

I used to love Dr. Hepp and have been seeing her for about 15 years. As another reviewer stated, she really used to take her time and listen to concerns and cared. The last 2 or 3 visits, she has student doctors do the exams while she stares at her laptop. Seems she can't wait to bolt out the door now and gives hurried answered if asked any direct questions. You are also not "allowed" to call and ask her questions any longer (it's absurd). The front desk has been a nightmare for years but I put up with it because I really like Dr. Hepp. Those days are gone.

From dream to nightmare: I used to love Dr. Hepp. Unfortunately, everything declined since she partnered with the Snooks. Over time, it became tougher to get appointments with her. I got used to sub-par physician's assistants (while still paying the same amount). RX refills became tougher to get processed properly. When I did see Dr. Hepp, she used to smile and care. The last time I saw her, she had a cold straight face, showing no care at all. The front office staff is horrid. I frequently did not receive my results, but my wife and I both received messages with other patients' results. They have a HIPAA document they show you, but their actions imply that they don't care about the law or your privacy at all. The final straw came when they sent MY bill to a different person with the same name for multiple months, but when I discovered this and tried to pay the bill, they wouldn't let me pay my own bill as it was in collections and the collections company has the wrong… birthdate on the record with my social security number. This chaos will end up haunting me for years.

Following a severe accident and surgeries, I was left with numerous health issues. My primary doctor stopped seeing me because my case was too complicated, two other doctors refused to see me for the same reason. Not Dr Hepp, she takes her time with me, tackling 1 issue after another, keeps an eye on my labs due to numerous medications, refers me to specialists when needed but coordinates all my care! I feel extremely confident that I am getting the best possible care!

Dr. Hepp is wonderful. She will call you if it is something she can answer over the phone. She really listens and pays attention asks a lot of questions. You walk out of there feeling amazing. You never feel rushed and she always has a smile. When I started with her I was a real mess. Here I am meeting her for the first time crying hysterical. She got me calm down to talk about the problem. We still work on it now and then. I am very fortunate to have found Dr Jennifer Hepp and her assistant Kim. They are both very caringcaring.

One of the few doctors I ever had that did not have a God complex. Uses technology well. Refers to specialists frequently but I like that she recognizes where her expertise is limited. Takes as much time as necessary to answer any question. Understands human nature knowing what lifestyle instructions will be easy to follow and what will be hard and gives hints to help on the harder items.

Very compassionate doctor who take the time to listen to what you have to say.

Wasn't too able to diagnose health problems on her own. Had to see a lot of specialists.

On 2 occasions the office staff and her assistant, have kept me waiting for over an hour and have talked to me in condescending/sarcastic tones. Dr. Hepp is a wonderful person who is caring-as long as you can get in to see her! Unfortunately a Doctor has to have a good staff on hand in order for them to be successful.
