Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I'm a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner serving clients in New York. I specialize in anxiety, religion and spirituality, relationship issues, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), loss, grief, and bereavement, life transitions, insomnia and sleep issues, family issues, depression, and chronic illness. I’ve been in nursing for over 25 years and completed my master’s and psychiatric training at Columbia University School of Nursing. I believe in establishing a strong, collaborative relationship with each client, where we work together to make informed decisions about their treatment. I chose to be a psych NP because I cannot imagine doing anything else in my life except for helping those who are finding their way and their voice. I always wanted a career in nursing and in healthcare due to my desire and passion for wanting to help those who need it the most. My practice is inclusive and welcoming, embracing diversity in culture, background, and …experience. I have worked with a wide range of clients, including students, parents, professionals from various fields, skilled tradespeople, service industry workers, retail employees, entrepreneurs, artists, and technology experts. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where each individual feels heard, understood, and empowered to achieve their therapeutic goals. Starting treatment can be a scary and intimidating process.
