Dr. Jennifer Marie Holder Murray, MD

Doctor was dismissive and rude. Her nurse was worse. Made me feel uncomfortable. Doctor told me to come back in 6 months. I would rather find a new provider.

Beyond terrible experience both times.

Dr. Holder-Murray did my colonoscopy surgery and was everything and more than I expected. I have absolutely nothing to complain about from the first time I met her to after surgery appointments. No reason to look further than her.

My experience with this physician was terrible. I scheduled a visit with this provider for a common benign condition which would have required an also very common simple 10 min office procedure to be resolved. This provider refused to provide the care I requested. Providers explanation as to why she refused to provide the care I was requesting was irrational in my opinion related to the extensive research I had made into the treatment of my condition before scheduling an appointment. I felt the provider had zero concern for my request for care. This provider talked down to me and made comments which were very unprofessional related to my mental health/emotional concerns for this embarrassing condition. The provider asked if I would like referred out to a plastic surgeon as this would be what I came to understand in her opinion to be an unimportant cosmetic concern. I was highly dissatisfied with her care. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with any provider and would… not recommend this physician.

Dr. Holder-Murray is very knowledgeable and caring and a very good surgeon.

Spends minimal time with patients. Seems too busy for her recovering patients. Hard time contacting her office. Don't return calls. Seem either disinterested or too busy.

Felt like she was not interested in treating my condition. Didn't explain the findings of her exam. Sent me off twice with no effective resolution. Went elsewhere and was much happier with the care I received.

Dr. Holder-Murray is a god send. She went above and beyond to make sure my surgery was a success. What should have been a 3 hour surgery ended up into an 8 hour surgery because she went out of her way to have the best possible outcome, which was of course to reconnect what was left of what little colon I had left without a colostomy bag. That extra effort has made my life so much more pleasant and enjoyable. I couldn't have asked for anything better. In my opinion, best colon surgeon around. 8 years ago I also had a colon resection....worse experience of my life. I dreaded the thought of having another. My daughter found Dr. Holder-Murrays information on the internet, read other reviews, and looked at her credentials. My daughter was impressed and convinced me to go to her instead. Best decision I ever made.
