Love the staff, just like family. Dr. Holland-Hinton been our 4 children doctor for 14 years. Our youngest is 10 & oldest is 26.

We have seen this provider for 10 years. There is now a custody case with the children she's seen. Through the course of the guardian ad litem's review, she told him she did not accept my daughter's diagnosis of Celiac Disease, nor my son's. The issue here is that 1) this is the first I'd heard it - when it impacted who got custody of my children, and 2) it is documented in my daughter's chart and my son went through testing with a provider SHE REFERRED US TO. I also have the disease. The treatment is eliminating gluten, not highly addictive drugs or behavior-modifying drugs. The treatment is REAL, WHOLE FOOD. But now it looks like I am projecting my illness onto my children because of HER opinion which she failed to discuss with me despite testing being done YEARS AGO with my daughter, and in the last 2 years with my son. How can I trust her? She recommended highly invasive testing be done with a simpler route exists just because that's what SHE is comfortable with. She also… told the GAL that I had declined the (highly invasive) testing when the truth was, our insurance wouldn't pay for it because the kids weren't sick... because the kids weren't eating gluten. I am not a doctor, but these are my children to whom I have a great responsibility. I do not take the responsibility lightly and when I trust someone to help me make lifelong decisions for them, withholding information or not being open to alternatives that *I* as the parent am more comfortable with is just not okay. I contacted the patient advocate and all they could do was provide my medical records, stating they didn't get involved... Too bad they'd already done the damage.

Dr Holland-Hinton's ability to put a child at ease and make them a part of the process has made my son's experience unparalleled. He has no fear of needles, no anxiety about visiting the doctor and actually enjoys spending time with her.
