Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving clients in Oregon. I specialize in ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia & sleep issues, bipolar, life transitions, OCD, PTSD, trauma, anger management, impulse disorder, binge eating disorder, burnout, family issues, loss, grief, and bereavement, relationship issues, seasonal affective disorder (SAD), stress management. I’ve been in nursing for over 10 years and completed my master’s and psychiatric training at Frontier Nursing University. I’m passionate about destigmatizing mental healthcare, and together with my colleagues at Lavender Psychiatry, I’m on a mission to create a world where feelings are felt, respected, and cared for.

My therapeutic style is characterized by warmth, engagement, and a genuine personal connection. I believe in establishing a strong, collaborative relationship with each client, where we work together to make informed decisions about their treatment. I chose to be a …psych NP because I believe psychiatric issues make up the public health crisis of our time, and I want to be part of mitigating the harm. It also plays to my strengths. I am an excellent listener and have a calming, validating presence.

My practice is inclusive and welcoming, embracing diversity in culture, background, and experience. I have worked with a wide range of clients, including students, parents, professionals from various fields, skilled tradespeople, service industry workers, retail employees, entrepreneurs, artists, and technology experts. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where each individual feels heard, understood, and empowered to achieve their therapeutic goals. Starting treatment can be a scary and intimidating process. I’ve successfully treated many people who are new to psychiatric care.
