Dr. Jennifer K Hornback, MD

Dr. Hornback is very thorough! I've been searching for a Dr. in Reno and finally found one that listens and takes action. I really appreciate this!

Have been with Dr. Hornback since 2002/2003. She is always there when I need her with a sympathetic but diagnostic ear.

I have been seeing Dr. Hornback for many years. When I first started seeing her her beside manner had a lot to be desired, but with time that has changed. She is very good with me. As for her staff, they are no different than any other customer service realted industry. There is no customer service, they are rude and very unhappy people. If they don't like their job then leave. They should be happy they have a job. Her staff doesn't call with results when they are supposed to, they don't fax referals to the respective physicians, or hospitals. The patient is the one that has to follow up and make sure this is done. I remember back in the day if you didn't do your job you were fired.

I came from a doctor who I adored and really cared about her patients. I don't feel the warmth that a doctor should have towards her patients with Hornback. Her MA isn't the nicest and takes forever to get back to you. Would not recommend her, sorry!

Direct yet compassionate. Easy to make appointments and appointments usually start on time.

Mediocre. Inconsistant at best, seems to have a different level of care every time I have seen her. Overall an ok doctor just dont get your hopes up.

I had a great experience with Dr. Hornback. She was quick and efficient. At 46 years old, I have a pretty good understanding of my health problems, and she trusted my judgement. She suggested a number of tests, such as mammogram, cholesterol screening, all of which made perfect sense. She was kind, intelligent, friendly, astonishingly young, and gave me free samples!

I would not recommend Dr. Hornback to anyone. She has wanted to treat myself and my son for things we didnt even have. She always assumes the worst thing first and immediately wants to take action before really looking into it. I've always got second opinions and she wasnt ever right. Not very people friendly. I wasted alot of money on false assumptions of health issues. I will never go to her again.

Dr. Hornback is competent and has a fairly good bedside manner. Her practice is busy and her staff isn't as friendly or helpful as I would prefer, but these days, competence and decency are about the best we can ask for. I am satisfied with the service overall.
