Dr. Jennifer Andrea Keagle, MD

I originally posted on Yelp - and she paid to get it removed. Please read other sites that aren't so easily manipulated. After a month of planning surgery with her, I cancelled and found another doctor. I received "treatment" in the form of paying to go to her office 3 times and being upsold on things I can buy from the drugstore. To say this person has poor bedside manner would be an understatement. I definitely get the feeling if the shape of my eyes were like hers, I would have been treated differently. You have to feel comfortable with someone who is going to cut you open - her vibes were so off, there was no way I would going under with her holding the knife. One of the last conversations I had with her, she called me at 830 AM to "scold" me about not liking a question I asked in an email. I thought it was a joke? Turned out she was serious.

Five stars simply isn’t enough for Dr. Keagle and her team, so I wanted to write as detailed of a review as possible. I recently had a breast reduction done with Dr. Keagle and would like to share some of the highlights that reflect why I’m so happy that I chose her as my surgeon. I did plenty of research before choosing Dr. Keagle, and her website was immediately a distinguishing factor. She includes all of her credentials as well as her CV, along with testimonials and photos. Her qualifications are impressive and certainly set her apart from other doctors in Southern California (Believe me, I looked into many!). I knew that her expertise is what would translate into great results. They have an easy contact form directly on their website, which started my initial interaction with her office. As someone who had never had a major surgery before and was relatively unfamiliar with how to request approval through health insurance, I was rather nervous about how to navigate the situation.… It is so important to have good client care/customer service in these situations where many people, like myself, are self-conscious about showing their body and pursuing a breast reduction. Amelia, who runs the front desk and assists Dr. Keagle, is responsive, friendly, and clearly goes out of her way to provide their clients with a great experience. She contacted my insurance multiple times on my behalf, even at the outset to see if they would cover my consultation fee. At my first consultation, I felt comfortable right away. The office is clean and cozy, and I definitely agree with her website’s description of having a “boutique experience” overall. After my examination and going over a list of questions about why I wanted to pursue a breast reduction, they sent all of the information and an approval request directly to my insurance. As I mentioned, I’ve had no prior experience dealing with insurance, so it was really a gift to have them take care of everything. I got a call from Amelia as soon as my insurance approved the request, and we set up my pre-op and surgery dates. The pre-op appointment was a great experience as well, and it was noticeable that Dr. Keagle remembered things about me even from my consultation (where I live, what I do, etc.). It truly made me feel valued as a patient. I felt fully prepared and confident ahead of my surgery date knowing that all of my questions had been answered and that they were always responsive and compassionate. Now that my surgery is complete, I can honestly say that I wouldn’t think twice about recommending anyone besides Dr. Keagle and her team for breast surgery. I should add that her down-to-earth and friendly demeanor made this experience so memorable, and has truly been a life-changing procedure for me. Especially as a woman, it was of utmost importance to me that I found a team of people that would support me throughout the process and help take away my anxieties, not add to them! I am so happy to have found that here. I can’t say it enough, THANK YOU Dr. Keagle!!!

I was going to get a nose job but there is this nose job alternative called "nose right" it works better, and this doctor charges 5,000 for something that would cost 15 dollars. Go to nose right dot com and see, i cancelled my surgery date with this doctor. Good Luck!

I would never go to this Doctor for anything Important! The Staff and the Doctor do not care about anything about MONEY>

it is all about the $$$$ for these people.

I liked Dr. Keagle. She seemed friendly and my Botox seems to look ok. The only problem I have is that when I asked her directly about the price, she told me that another "area" was $199 (and I had already paid $149 for a Living Social voucher for one "area".) She said that I'd get the same deal if I booked my appointment before I left, so I just assumed I was pre-paying for the next appointment when they charged me $325 (on top of the $149 voucher.) The next day, I wrote her an email to clarify if I had been overcharged for my visit or if I had already purchased the next visit, too. Someone on her staff called to tell me that I had HEARD WRONG and that $325 was for the one area (outside of the eyes) and normally it was $525.I brought it to Dr. Keagle's attention again via email and she just said, "I'm sorry you're upset but that's what you were told." (Granted, I just had a needle stabbed into my forehead a few times, but my ears were working ok.)I know that if a doctor were… straightforward with me, I wouldn't have gotten a second "area" done. She says her normal price is $525 per area and she told me that I got $199 OFF her regular price... so forehead, outside eyes and between the eyebrows would normally cost you $1575, by the way. (Outrageous for Botox.) Her email was patronizing and not the least bit apologetic for misleading me. Lame. Oh well... live and learn. At least my eyelid isn't drooping.
