I go to church with Dr. Jen Key so I’m biased in one way. It's funny to like getting a root canal, but I liked being there with her and her staff. Objectively I can tell Dr. Key and her staff are confident in the process there and the success rate. I have two business master degrees so I evaluate any system in terms of process and outcome. Yes, with endodontics the human factor is MAJOR and Dr. Key and her staff care about you. You want an endodontist who is super comfortable with those tiny root canal files and that’s what Dr. Key was born to do. It is serious when a person starts getting not only root damage but also jaw bone infection like where I was last week. I was relieved my very valuable rear molar was saved and my crown was saved too. Don’t wait to get a root canal and go to Dr. Key because you want a vital procedure like this to go off without a hitch. Bumps on your gum by your roots are a sure sign of root damage with tooth pain are sure signs. Make sure your… dentist does an Xray and follows through to make sure whether or not you need to go to an endodontist or not. My dentist didn’t get the diagnosis right at first. Canker sores are usually on the inside of my cheeks so the symptoms of root disease are different. Her staff are excellent. Connie at Dr. Key’s office is great because she helps people understand the basics. Connie told me I would be taken care of and I believed Connie, because she is a good, believable person… and because she works for an excellent, good endodontist who is also a very, very good person as well. I get that good vibe from the entire team there. Healthcare environments where people seem unhappy and there isn’t a good patient focus should be avoided. You want healthcare teams with great ratings and everyone feels good about the process and the care outcomes. The price for a root canal with Dr. Key is right in there with the average, but the outcome is way above average. Just average root canal outcome performance is not what you want. You want your tooth dealt with… properly… the first time. There’s no point in trying to save a little money. Just go to Dr. Key.

I was very pleased with Dr. Key and her staff. I have never had a root canal and needed one and was sent to Dr. Key and I was very pleased with answers to questions and her work.

I’ve been to Dr Key 3 times now since I’ve been in Asheville the last almost 3 years, each time for route canals. She has always been amazing. Last week I was in the hospital for a tooth/bone infection and a day later had to have a sort of “emergency/last minute” root canal, and I was able to be taken the day of, last minute. I had my newborn with me, and no family in town to watch her. I felt terrible having to bring the baby in while getting a route canal but Dr Key and her staff were absolutely amazing about it- one of her nurses even held my baby for me while I was being worked on! I am so thankful. They worked with me, and I am feeling 100% better. Thank you ladies!!!

This was my first Root canal and to say I was nervous was an understatement. I was terrified, but knew it had to be done. Dr Key was so kind professional and made sure I was totally numb before starting the procedure and I can honestly say I didn't feel any pain through the visit. I would highly recommend Dr Key and her staff! They made me feel at ease before during and after and I am so grateful! I am that patient that is normally not welcomed back because of my fears of dental work. I will be returning here for any dental procedures I may encounter in my future. Thank you again for the positive experience.

Dr. Key did an excellent job on my root canal. She is also a great listener and was thoughtful and understanding in responding to my questions and concerns.

I feel that the root canal treatment I had was done with expertise and the entire staff very professional.

Dr. Key is wonderful! She informed me of all costs, procedures and is charming. She is a perfectionist; and I really appreciate the work did saving my tooth! My case was one she had not seen prior, and she took the time to make certain that it was done well and right. She, along with her staff are delightful! Nobody wants to have a root canal, and should the need arise again, it will be Dr. Key I shall see!

Dr. Key and her office staff are so friendly and welcoming! I've had two root canals performed by Dr. Key now, and both have done so well, with no pain discomfort whatsoever!! She was very caring and gentle , taking the time to explain things as she went along! I told my dentist that I was glad he sent me to her, because she is so pleasant and thorough! I highly recommend Dr. Jennifer Key to anyone needing a root canal done well!!!

The visit for a root canal could not be more distressing. I must say though that after being taken back all worries eased. The staff is so friendly and can make anyone feel at ease. Also my tooth was questionable as being candidate for procedure. Dr. Keys was very honest and explained the pros and cons of finishing with the procedure. After choosing to have extracted, she then went over all the options I had after this. Called the next day to make sure I was okay. Great service. Would recommend highly to anyone needing root canal.
