Dr. Jennifer Ann Killion, MD

Dr. Killion has been my primary doctor for 10 years. She is knowledgeable, friendly and very detailed and attentive to my health issues. She listens and does not rush you out. Her staff are also very nice and friendly.

Been my doctor for many years. More and more frustrated. Long wait I’m the reception area only to be put into an exam room for another long wait. Talks to much nonsense instead of focusing on why I am there. Shows a lot of attitude if she doesn’t like what you have to say. Does not give a thorough exam when her attitude shows up. Been thinking about changing doctors and pretty sure I will. Would not recommend.

I am so grateful to Dr. Killion and McFarland Clinic for their enthusiastic help getting me the Pfizer vaccine. Thanking them doesn’t seem enough. Every day I realize that choosing Dr. Killion andMcFarland Clinic for my health care many years ago was a sound decision! Thanks again!

Dr. Killion was my physician for many years and I was growing increasingly dissatisfied. A few years ago I was diagnosed with a rare condition by another Ames doctor and I visited her to discuss it. I took along some literature to share. She told me very dismissively that she knew what the condition was and literally turned her back on me, offended that I would dare to bring in written information. She showed no interest, offered no advice and never followed up with me. I changed doctors after this last encounter.

Very personal and knowledgeable professional. Takes time with you and listen. Very easy to talk to, she makes you feel at ease. I highly recommend her.

Dr Killian is the best doctor I have ever had, and a wonderful person.

She told me I was a hypochondriac but was actually in kidney failure! I only saw her a couple of times, and after the misdiagnoises I never went back. She is a terrible doctor!

Dr. Killion gives a written summary of your appt to you. She really listens to you (and takes time to do that). That's the trade off I guess. Overall, really like her.
