Dr. Jennifer A. Kunkel is originally from Uvalde, Texas. After graduating in 1991 from Ingram Tom Moore High School, she attended Schriener College in Kerrville. A year later, she moved to Needville, Texas and resumed her studies at Wharton County Junior College, then transferred to the University of Houston for the remainder of her undergraduate studies. Following college, she was accepted to the University of Texas Health Science Center – Houston Dental Branch were she obtained a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2000.
Dr. Kunkel is a member of the Greater Houston Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and a Fort Bend County Dental Study Club. She is continually learning and growing through continuing education, staying abreast of the latest in dental research and technology. She has had the pleasure and experience of working in Needville for many years and after opening her own practice in 2001, she enjoys being an active …and contributing business owner for her community.
Dr. Kunkel has two daughters which she enjoys spending most of her time with. She also enjoys being involved in her church and is currently serving as a board member for 1st Academy Preschool. In her spare time, she loves to travel and enjoy the beauty of nature.
