Dr. Jennifer L. Kurka, DO

Stay away from her if you're an adult. She was unable to solve my high blood pressure issue though she claims to be a specialist in the area. Office hours are difficult to schedule with appointments booked months away. You will often wait extended times in her waiting room but God forbid you're late. 15 minutes late for an appointment because of no parking at the 2040 location and, after waiting for 15 minutes for a response, was told that I would have to reschedule. Another month? Apparently my time isn't as valuable as hers considering I had to leave work, travel 25 minutes each way, search for parking for a half hour, then get turned away though there was one person in the waiting area and three doctors in the practice. Typical arrogant, self-important doctor.

Will not be going back.

Aside from my children's pediatrician. This is a gem of a doctor. Great bedside manner and doesn't make you feel stupid for asking questions.

Because of an insurance change, I had to change doctors. I talked to a couple of doctors that I know and trust and they all suggested Dr. Kurka. After having her as my doctor, I understand why other doctors have confidence in her. She is knowlegable, she takes time with her patients, and she always follows up, whether by appointment or personal phone call. She also tells you what you should hear nicely but doesn't sugar coat. I couldn't ask for a better doctor.

Dr. Kurka is a rare gem in her field. She really takes the time to listen to her patients, and sets them on a very clear plan for wellness. Caring, considerate, sincere, down-to-earth, knowledgable, and professional are all words that I would use to describe both Dr. Kurka and her practice. Thank you, Dr. Kurka, for going above and beyond the call of duty!

She is a sweet, younger doctor, but also very astute and intelligent. I had to switch doctors recently, which is never fun, but I will keep Dr. Kurka for a long time. She is great with the kids and good with my husband and I whether we are in as parents or people!
