Dr. Jennifer Danae Lawrence, MD

I met her a year ago for a routine physical which is covered by my insurance. Lawrence ordered tests for metabolic panel and lipid panel. Instead of marking them as preventative, she categorized them as diagnostic which meant I had to pay for the tests. Neither she or Skagit would correct their mistake. I couldn't get her to call me back. I had to fight with their admin and manager. None of them helped to rectify the situation even though they admitted that Lawrence should have billed the visit and the lab tests as preventative for my annual physical. I had to pay out of pocket for tests that I didn't ask for. During my physical, she spent more time asking about my gender than doing any examination. She then lied on the after care notes, stating that she examined my eyes, ears, skin, etc but she did not. She was fixated on her computer screen the entire time. When I inquired about a referral to a dermatologist, she searched on google which I could have done myself. I would not… recommend her.

I have been to see Dr. Lawrence many times in the last 6 months and I have felt well taken care of and supported. She listens to me and has a calm approach which helps my anxious personality. She also responds swiftly on MyChart. I look forward to many years in her care!
