Dr. Jennifer S. Lee, MD

Dr. Lee is a plastic surgeon as well as an experienced functional medicine provider. She has treated patients with conditions such as IBS, migraine, thyroid disease, autoimmune conditions, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, SIBO, and insomnia. Her treatment strategy incorporates lifestyle counseling with nutraceuticals, but she also recommends prescription medications when necessary. In addition, she is well versed in DNA analysis to augment treatment individualization, such as with COMT and MTHFR mutationsFor her cosmetic patients, Dr. Lee optimizes skin health through a full range of aesthetic services that include injections, skincare, and skin surgery, such as benign mole excision and scar revision. She believes in treating the whole person, and that beauty optimally pairs aesthetic procedures with internal health. Dr. Lee completed her residency in Plastic Surgery at Brown University School of Medicine. She is trained to perform both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic …surgery, with extensive experience in wound care. Dr. Lee received her MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and a BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a major in Architecture (Art and Design) and a minor in Women's Studies.​Dr. Lee has a particular interest in issues of diversity, spiritual and emotional health, healthy aging, and peak performance. She is currently developing a program to address physician wellness, in particular, the treatment and prevention of burnout and suicide so prevalent among physicians today.
