I did not have a good experience with Jennifer A. Mohr, NP. From the start, her tone felt harsh and judgmental, and she made assumptions about the cause of my symptoms that did not feel grounded in what I was reporting. When I tried to explain that I was experiencing significant anxiety and that it was affecting how I communicated in the moment, my concerns were dismissed rather than acknowledged or addressed. I also did not feel there was clear, shared decision-making. Options and next steps were presented in a way that felt coercive rather than collaborative, which increased my distress. The overall interaction escalated my anxiety noticeably and left me feeling ashamed rather than supported. Cardiology patients are often frightened, and some also live with anxiety disorders. A calmer approach, neutral language, and basic validation would have made a meaningful difference. I hope this feedback is taken seriously.
