Extremely Unprofessional and Heartless – Avoid This Nurse Practitioner at All Costs I wish I could give zero stars. We chose this nurse practitioner because she seemed nice and approachable during our first visit. We only had two appointments, and we truly thought she was going to listen to our serious concerns about my family member’s ongoing stomach issues. She ordered a gastric emptying study, which made us hopeful that she was taking us seriously and that we were finally making progress. Then, out of nowhere, she completely ghosted us—no warning, no explanation. After the second visit, we sent several follow-up messages through the patient portal asking about the test results and next steps. Crickets. Not a single response. We waited weeks, sent more messages—still absolute silence. Not even a basic acknowledgment that she’d received them. When we finally tried to schedule another appointment (multiple times), the office casually informed us that she “could no longer see us.” No… reason given. No message from her directly. No referral to another provider. Nothing. Just abruptly dropped, leaving us hanging with an unresolved health problem. This isn’t just bad communication—it’s patient abandonment. When you’re trusting a healthcare provider with your well-being, expecting them to at least follow through on tests they’ve ordered, this kind of behavior is inexcusable and downright cruel. To disappear without a word after giving us hope shows a shocking lack of professionalism and basic respect. If you want a provider who will actually listen, communicate, and see your care through, steer clear of this nurse practitioner. We’re now back to square one, scrambling to find someone new and starting the whole process over. Save yourself the stress, disappointment, and wasted time—go somewhere else. Highly NOT recommended.
