Dr. Jennifer Lynn Mccabe-Lentz, MD

Dr. McCabe Lentz is warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely loves being a doctor. She listens to my concerns and we work as a team to achieve a workable plan. She is a brilliant Dr who works diligently to research a diagnosis. I use texts, emails, or in-person visits to her office when health problems arise. Her rates are reasonable and she will find me the best prices on prescriptions. She advocates for my best health by “thinking outside the box”. Dr. McCabe Lentz is a RARE find and exceeds all my expectations!!!

Dr Lentz has been my doctor for many years. I always recommend her to family and friends. She takes time with each patient and listens.

I knew that the DPC model was a big cost-saver for me, I was admittedly lazy in trying to find another aDirect Care practice near us after our move. I foolishly used our "insurance" for my son's abdominal pain workup at a big box clinic. The doctor was nice, but of course we probably got 15-20 minutes with him. Then the "GI series" was done. I've ended up paying nearly $750 for the doctor visit, followed by the series, then the radiologist's bill. I have since learned that I could have had the series, plus a couple of YEARS of membership for my son if I had just paid out of pocket for the test! FIVE STARS for this doctor.

Finding Dr. Lentz was a pure accident for me. I had to pick a new primary dr. out of the list when Dr. Reents left. Dr. Lentz has been amazing. She listens. She provides books, links, etc. for information. I feel much more like a participant in my healthcare rather than having someone just tell me things. I'm losing weight, feeling better than I have in years, and understanding so much more now! It truly has transformed my health at a time when I really felt like I'd done everything.

. Lack of follow thru with expensive tests! Results in their system for several weeks and they didn't know... had to call to prompt them to give me results...which were given to me by the MA. NOT the Dr. Very frustrating. This happened twice with important info. One time it was relayed to me by someone just reading a script! Telling me something was indeed wrong! Don't you think I might like to hear that from the Dr! Then I was told to see a specialist without the Dr ever talking to me about the results. Looking for a new dr.
