Dr. Jennifer Eidson Mccain, MD

Dr. McCain received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia and her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her internship and residency at The Children's Hospital of Alabama. She then stayed at Children's Hospital for a three year fellowship training program in pediatric emergency medicine where she received the Quarterback Club award for excellence in teaching from the graduating residents. After fellowship she became an assistant professor with the University of Alabama Birmingham and continued to work in Children's Hospital Emergency Department for two years before coming to work at Mayfair Medical Group. Dr. McCain is board certified in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. She is married to Larry McCain, an English teacher at Mountain Brook Junior High School. Dr. McCain enjoys playing tennis, golf and traveling.
