Dr. Jennifer Ann Mcdonald, MD

When you are honest with your doctor and they treat you like you are lying, nothing good comes out of it. Dr McDonald has plenty of openings on her schedule on short notice, likely because she doesn't have a lot of return patients. The first visit she seemed interested in helping but got hung on something mentally and told me 8 (not exaggerating, that was exactly the number of times) the same thing, which was that I needed to get my eyes checked by a professional, even though I told her had been less than 6 months since my last eye exam. Second visit, I reviewed my labs, and asked for solutions to bring one of the numbers down, I was told to exercise. I explained I already have a good exercise program, she again did not believe me and offered no further help. Asked for medication to manage panic attacks, was told no, because I am not going outside during the pandemic, but she wants me to go outside to exercise, which seems counter intuitive.

Saw Dr. McDonald for approximately 2 years, she was very good at needed referrals...the patient treatment became Unbearable, and even Very concerning! Rude and volatile, not only to me...also her staff, in front of me the patient. She acted like interrogator and I was shocked by some of the exam. I will never go back and am deeply concerned...so much so I will not share it on this review. There should be an option to give zero stars or -5 stars. Dehumanizing, of an intelligent person...how does she treat those less balanced? He MA and the rest of the Office were excellent!

I went to see Dr. McDonald because I was having dizzy spells/vertigo. I was trying to explain my symptoms and when they started when she got impatient and upset with me and said "how am I supposed to help you if you're so vague?" I won't go into the details of my second appointment with her, but again she became flustered and angry with me for no reason. I never went back. Coincidentally, I was trading "horrible doctor" stories with a co-worker and turns out we had both gone to Dr. McDonald. She accused my co-worker of being a drug addict when there was absolutely no basis for her accusation and made him feel extremely uncomfortable.

Dr. McDonald is thorough, kind, does not let you get off track with small talk. TAKES CARE OF BUSINESS! I have not been blessed with a great gene pile...Dr. McDonald made me feel she will be there to get to the bottom of the problem, for the rest of my days! I AM BLESSED that she is taking on new patients. (Be ready to stay on point...if you don't like detail, you are silly!)

Been a patient for years but have decided to finally find a new doctor. Reading other people's comments, I totally agree. She doesn't seem interested in any "issues". She makes you feel like you're over exaggerating everything. Followup is next to none. Just time to find a doctor that will listen and then follow through with treatment...someone who cares about their patients.

I saw Dr. McDonald a couple of years ago for the first time. That time she was pleasant, patient, thorough, and happily answered my questions. I was impressed, so had no problem scheduling an appointment to see her again when I had a concern about something potentially life threatening. I was shown to the exam room by her nurse, who took my vitals and questioned me about my current concerns. She wrote them all down and told me the doctor would be with me in a few minutes; she was finishing up with a patient. After 20 minutes Dr. McDonald came breezing in with what appeared to be an assistant in training. The assistant was seated at a computer and it was her job to input or find information from my file. Dr. McDonald started asking me questions about my medical history. I was confused because I've been going to that clinic for years, and she was treating me like a new patient. She was rapid-firing questions at me, asking for dates of procedures I had many years ago. When I pointed out… that the dates were already on file she told me it was easier to ask me than look them up. After the "interrogation" she asked me what I was there for. I told her. She told me to get undressed. She came back and proceeded to give me a full physical, like a routine yearly physical. That's fine, but not why I was there that day. Even more troubling was how she gave the physical. She rushed through it, while barking orders at both me and the assistant. Finally she got around to why I was there. I showed her my area of concern and she seemed to brush it off. Then she told me we can biopsy it if I want; it was up to me. WHAT?! I came there for medical advice. I made an appointment for the biopsy, but ended up cancelling it. I cannot stand the thought of having Dr. McDonald cut into my body. During this appointment she hurried through, made me feel like I was an inconvenience, and belittled me. I'm sure her poor assistant felt the same way. Dr. McDonald is a nightmare.

Terrible practice went there once given prescription called for a wk with no return call. Felt like I was imposing on her, never listened, spent about 10mins for a physical

Finally someone who gets my sleep issues!!! Down to earth, easy to talk to, great listener! Didn't feel rushed. Provided great resource information. Was able to get an appointment within a week. Highly recommend her if you have hard to treat sleep issues.

Dr MacDonald is the most incredibly rude physician I have ever met. I felt very uncomfortable with her.

I liked Dr McDonald. Very through. I'm in good hands.
