Dr. Jennifer Held Menell, MD

I felt like I was in good hands with Dr. Menell. Her attitude struck just the right tone-serious, direct, but caring and flippant. She and her assistant kept me laughing during the entire uncomfortable procedure. They acted as though they really cared about the outcome. You can't ask for better treatment.

Dr Menell is so thorough, careful , KIND , and precise.. I go to her every year , sometimes 6 month intervals.. I’m high risk and so grateful I have her as my EAGLE EYE prior MSKCC Radiologist locally at Caremount.. I’m ever grateful for her TOP surveillance and supportive personality.. Thank You Dr Jennifer Menell… ! I feel so much better , even when worried , that I’m in your Care ! Early, ACCURATE, surveillance is YOU and your passion to saving women’s lives .

Dr Menell picked up an abnormality that another radiologist overlooked, calling it "nothing to worry about"...... That abnormality was indeed breast cancer. Because it was caught and treated so early, I am OK. I credit her and my wonderful physician for saving me from a much more catastrophic diagnosis. I will forever be grateful for the time and attention she has given me! MP

SHE IS AWESOME

on the plus side... She picked up something irregular, so she did something she gets paid to do. On the minus side. She came into the room while I was getting a sonogram of my breast. She pushed the sono tech aside and took over. This went on for fifteen minutes as I was lying there and she said "I guess you're wondering why I'm not saying anything". I replied "well. Yes". She said "I'll say something when I have something to say." I'm tired of doctors who treat women like this. I made an appointment with another practice and will not go back to mkmg radiology. Maybe this doctor does this all day and I was just another woman, but speaking to anyone in this manner is unprofessional and lacks any basic understanding that sooner or later this same doctor or her mother, or her sister, will be in this same position. She should treat every woman the same way she herself would want to be treated and spoken to.

Once again the expert dr Menell is professional polite communicative follows up. And actually really cares about me. I feel very safe with her reading and following my complications. Always thorough prepared and makes a core biopsy easy fast and right on target. Mkmg's little secret.

Again. Top thorough expert doctor. Trust her eagle eyes and top training and experience. She is kind friendly supportive great follow up. I notice in the wait area many other referrals from local doctors send their patients to her w a tough mammo read. Right there tells u she is the expert. Mkmg is lucky to have her.

Dr menell is experienced, talented, highly educated, and has the best of the best training...Mkmg is lucky to have a radiologist who worked so many years at Sloan Kettering...she transfers that specialized training and I have been a very lucky recipient to have been her patient many times.....she has not only accurately read my mammo, prescribed ultrasound and MRI afterwards,but has performed 2 precise core biopsies, and a sterotatic biopsy...all at different times..she was very kind and caring..she offered warmth,support, hugs, big smile..this helped relieve my anxiety and increase my confidence...I highly recommend her in all areas...great doctor!
