If I could give zero stars, I would. This clinic demonstrated complete incompetence and a disturbing lack of professionalism in handling my pre-surgical care. I have a documented CYP2D6 gene, which affects how I metabolize pain medications like oxy. I informed their office of this well in advance of my scheduled nasal surgery—a major procedure involving bone and tissue work. Despite having this critical information for weeks, Dr. Jennifer Mitchell and her staff—particularly a staff member named Brian—failed to follow up, adjust the pain management plan, or communicate with me at all. When I finally called—24 hours before surgery—to express completely valid frustration (calmly and without being disrespectful), they responded by canceling the entire procedure and telling me they were "uncomfortable" treating me. I had called the office because I was told the doctor was going to call me about the pain plan, but instead I was directed to Brian. He refused to tell me whether or not the… doctor was going to call me or when, until I asked the question multiple times. Instead of giving me a direct answer, he kept implying that I was asking him to pull the doctor out of an appointment—which I never said. When I continued to press for a basic answer, he decided to cancel my surgery simply because he didn’t like that I was frustrated. This was not only unethical—it was trauma-inducing, medically negligent, and emotionally abusive. I was left less than 24 hours from surgery with no plan, no pain control, and no idea how to proceed. If you value communication, safety, or trauma-informed care, avoid this place. They are more concerned with covering their reputation than providing real medical care to patients with legitimate needs. I would go anywhere else like Alaska Facial Plastic Surgery and ENT
