Dr. Jennifer Kay Norman, MD

Terrible bedside manner. Don’t ask her a question because the answer will be that she is “qualified to say this or that” and she will shut you down. Her billing practices should be looked over as she spent 10 minutes with my child and reported to insurance 70 minutes!!!

Dr Norman has been excellent! She is kind, and easily relatable, but very professional and knowledgeable. She's direct, yet thoughtful, and friendly. The office is pleasant, and we've never waited too long, and the office staff has always been great also. We've also seen her practice partner, Dr Amber Stocco, who was very good as well!!

She is a great doctor.

I saw Dr.Norman for over two years and was prescribed 30 different medications. She never seemed to care too much or to even listen to what I was saying. After the 30th medication try she looked at my mom and said maybe I just need to see a therapist or get a massage. Even though I was going to the ER monthly for nonstop pain and could no longer make it to school at the age 15. Going to a new doctor shortly after, I was diagnosed and had to receive surgery on my nerves on the back of my head. At only being 15, I have never felt so unconfident before, and this is all because of a doctor who just did not care or believe me. I even started to believe I was making it up myself. I've been to about ten different doctors my whole life, and even though she wasn't the only one that could not help me, I've never had such a careless, demeaning doctor with terrible bed side manners. Never have I ever felt so unimportant, especially when I am trying to earn my life back.

Once you go Jennifer Norman you don't go back or find somebody else !

My daughter suffered 2 grand mal seizures out of the blue and was taken to the hospital, transferred from Norman Regional. Dr. Norman spent a long time listening patiently to our whole story of the events surrounding the seizures. I like that she did not talk down to me, but presumed that I was an intelligent individual as she explained the reports from the various tests. When we had a follow-up visit at her office I also found her competent and a good communicator. My daughter suffered another major seizure 9 months later, at which point I contacted her office (we stayed at home thanks to emergency medicine Dr. Norman had prescribed). They were slow to get back to me I called back after 2 hours and two hours after that they called back answering my questions. But I understand that they are used to dealing with patients who have seizures several times per week, and what seemed a crisis in our home did not seem so serious to them, perhaps. Anyhow, I was pleased with the feedback I got… when they did get back to me.

Dr.Norman included my teenage son in all discussions and decisions. She talked directly to both of us and my son felt he had input on his care plan. My teen is very comfortable with Dr. Norman and I feel blessed we found her.

Needs more experience in her field

We were able to get an appointment quickly. Dr. Norman really listened to my daughter and worked to find out what was causing her problems. After 2 years of trying to understand what was going on with my daughter, Dr. Norman gave us a diagnosis and treatment that is working.
