If your child is very young and can't articulate their discomfort....or if they are young and can live without full functionality, then Dr. Olson may be the doctor for you. If you have a teen that is in school and can articulate their symptoms-----RUN! Dr. Olson mis-treated my daughter, offered no follow up other than "call me in a month". After much suffering and inability to function in school from a thyroid problem, we sought treatment from another doctor who was shocked at my daughter's symptoms. She was immediately put on an appropriate dosage of medicine, and this doctor has tracked her closely, indicating that he wants my daughter to be fully functional at school as soon as possible. Dr. Olson misinformed us in many areas. We did receive a pre-printed thank you note for our business. Nice touch---HA! We are very grateful we sought a second opinion.
