Wow Im not surprised when reading so many negative feedbacks about Dr, Jennifer Park. How can she still practice and employed by Kaiser??? Every complain here is true about her

Poor listening skills; generally absent knowledge of trauma informed care; does not use patient-centered care; uses victim blaming to counteract patients advocating for themself. Do not recommend. Unfortunately tried to state that my diagnosis of several years was inaccurate until I had to describe my illness in traumatizing detail in order to convince her that my well-documented illness was real.

Rude, judgmental, lacks any amount of compassion or apathy. Was not listening, was waiting for her turn to speak. I have had depression since I was 14 and anxiety since I was 6. She was condescending and wanting to change my medication drastically without giving me anything to compensate for these meds, some would require a very nasty withdrawals and she was condescending and told me there wouldn’t be any issues, but over a dozen doctors have tried to wean me off Cymbalta with no success and it is because it is very hard to get off of, and one needs supervision to make a drastic change. She didn’t seem concerned. She demanded that I get off cannabis which I take because I am in a constant state of anxiety. She became super judgmental and wouldn’t prescribe benzodiazepines unless I was completely off the cannabis. I argued this and she agreed (but first she had to give me a little lecture about addiction) to stingily parcel out (the wrong amount) a tiny prescription for Klonopin that… could maybe get me through 2 days. I suffer from PTSD as well. I have never asked for benzodiazepines in my 48 years of anxiety and I don’t need some hack of a doctor treating me like a junkie when another Kaiser doctor encouraged the use of cannabis for my chronic pain. She has no empathy. I also made a grievance with Kaiser and it’s not the first. She’s in the wrong line of work.

Requested a referral for ADHD testing and instead she pulled up old files about my divorce that I had spoken with a therapist about and wanted to talk about that. She wanted to go over every single medication I had ever taken and the side effects (because I wont take anti-depressants) and despite having horrible reactions to all of them, wrote me a script for one I had already taken with no disregard to my feelings or experience. She would not let me talk at all, she was super dismissive and rude to me, and treated me like the fact that I had just lost my cat of 18 years within the past week wasn't something that I should be considering a traumatic experience. I made the mistake of telling her that I had been very lightly started to use cannabis within the past couple of years since so many meds don't mix well with me, and that this past week I had been using it a little more frequently to cope with my grief. She treated me like I was a drug addict and literally went on a 15 minute… preach about all the side effects and acted like any and all mental health issues I had been experiencing for DECADES were because of its use. She is infuriating, judgmental, she's rude, absolutely stuck up on this moral high ground, and has very strong personal opinions that cloud her ability to maintain professionalism. I immediately called Kaiser back to complain about her.
