Dr. Jennifer L Paruch, MD

I was on time but still waited at least an hour in the exam room before being seen. The doctor’s patient manner was uncaring and even rude at times. It seemed the last place she wanted to be was speaking to or helping a patient suffering from pain. She needs to go into another profession. Also a medical student, who didn’t introduce herself, just marched into the room before the exam.

This doctor doesn’t care about your time or health. I arrived to my appointment on time and waited for the doctor for over an hour while she saw a previous patient during my schedule time. The nurses made it seem like this is something she does very often. She kept telling me “just a minute” while she made phone calls and asked other nurses for favors. Once I said I was leaving she was ecstatic and said “okay!!” No remorse or apology. I was unable to get a refund for my visit and on my visit summary she misdiagnosed me and wrote down the wrong reason for my visit. The professional thing to do would have been to come directly to my room to treat me after being an hour late. Very selfish and a waste of money for me and my insurance.

A year ago I ended up in ER for emergency surgery. The ER doctors recommended Dr. P. as my follow-up physician. She provided expert care with multiple office visits over several months to get me back to good health. I appreciated her taking time to discuss the emergency procedures I had gone through and what steps we needed to take next. She was very good at answering my questions. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Paruch visited me twice when I was hospitalized for gastric issues. She offered surgery as an option, but left the choice up to me. When I decided to proceed, she was extremely helpful in explaining the procedure and its potential risks and benefits. She performed the surgery and we were both pleased with my quick recovery. Throughout the process she answered all my questions and made sure I was informed enough to guide my own treatment. I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Paruch was very unfriendly. Bedside manner left a lot to be desired. Flat and not forthcoming with information I was seeking. Didn't seem interested in hearing and helping me. I would not recommend.

I am a patient of Dr Paruch and I believe that she is an excellent surgeon. Besides her surgical skill she is also very good at explaining complicated procedures to her patients.

She was 50 minutes late for a 15 minute introductory appointment. She was not very helpful, nor friendly. She showed up with a medical resident and didn't introduce him. I had to ask who he was and say that he didn't have my permission to be in the room. I will not be going back!

She has horrible bedside manner. Was very interested in jumping into surgery without cause. Not interested in patient's best interest. Go elsewhere!
