Dr. Ratcliffe is extremely smart and gets right down to business. She’s VERY good at making moms! She made me one! I couldn’t be happier. Her staff (Bonnie, Natasha, and Janet) are all SO SWEET and knowledgeable. They also have excellent clinical skills. Which is a relief when you have to have multiple blood draws. My husband and I will definitely go back if we decide to have more kids!

She seems to be effective and successful at creating pregnancies, but be prepared to be treated horribly. Zero compassion. Zero empathy. Does not answer questions. Increases stress levels. I would not wish her personality on my worst enemy.

I was 44 and had several procedures at other offices. We got pregnant on the first try with Dr Ratcliffe. She is a straight shooter, and explains everything although it's a one dr office so she is busy. I am very happy we found Dr Ratcliffe.

Dr. Ratcliffe is very direct and informative. She is very good at her job and gets it done well. The office staff is very knowledgeable as well and on top of your cycle treatment. IVF is a difficult and emotional rollercoaster. The doctor is not there to hold your hand but I found that experience at other prior offices before transferring to Dr. Ratcliffe so please know that going to counseling is really what is helpful for emotional support and let the doctors do the technical work to get you pregnant. While Dr Ratcliffe is definitely not the “hold your hand” type, she is excellent at what she does. If you need someone to help you through the emotional difficulties of infertility I recommend a good therapist. Therapists are professionals who deal in emotional and mental health and anyone going through infertility treatment may find it very useful. Reproductive Endocrinologists get you pregnant and that’s exactly what we got! If you’re easily offended or believe you’ll judge your experience based on your doctors interest in coddling you, choose someone else. If you’re looking for an intelligent and effective professional, Dr Ratcliffe is the woman for the job. Dr Ratcliffe is quick and efficient, explains things very well, and honest and upfront about what to expect. She has a good sense of humor and an impeccable staff. Her office always returns calls and even has after hours availability. We were very happy with our treatment and are expecting our baby boy in about six more weeks!

It's a bit annoying how many people give negative ratings based on "attitude" without regard to the very simple question, "will she get the job done and get you pregnant?" She's not going to coddle you or hold your hand--she certainly didn't for us. I was never really phased by her attitude, though I could see that being an issue for some people depending on your personality--and infertility is rough, I get that. For us, we preferred directness and didn't require a "soft touch". I did have some questions about my diagnosis and I think there was another test regarding my diagnosis she could have run which she would not run. I remember being irritated about this at the time. Now? Not so much. In the end, none of that really stuck with me because she got me pregnant with twins on my very first medicated IUI cycle. Because it was our first treatment cycle, we escaped infertility at a relatively low financial cost, and the time it took to get pregnant was practically nothing compared to… what many people go through. She also discovered a genetic issue I had which had previously been missed by other doctors, and because of that we were able to take certain precautions and warn my family members to take precautions as well, which I am incredibly grateful for. The support staff at her office is excellent as well. We had a really good experience with everyone we met there. All in all, we were very satisfied with our experience with Dr. Ratcliffe. If you're the sensitive type, I urge you to set that aside, plan to get emotional support somewhere else, let any "attitude" issues roll off of you, and just go there to get the treatment and get the job done.

While I spent more time with Dr. Ratcliffe's nurses than Dr. Ratcliffe herself (Thank you, Natasha and Bonnie!), I can still confidently recommend Dr. Ratcliffe. She is clearly a keen observer and a skilled medical practitioner. While she's definitely not a warm and fuzzy personality (I would call her brusque, which is not a bad thing to me), she's personable and very funny. I was also pleasantly surprised with the availability of Dr. Ratcliffe and her staff to provide advice and treatment even when the office was closed. I am now close to 9 weeks along and could not have been happier with my experience.

First time I went to see Dr. Ratcliffe she explained my condition which was great but she talked so fast I couldn't comprehend any of it. I just had a procedure done and she wouldn't explain anything to me the only way I knew about my results I had to call the receptionist and she explained everything to me. Dr Ratcliffe is rude and makes you feel that your not worth her time.

Let me start by saying this has been a long and difficult journey, both physically but more so emotionally and mentally. And unless you have gone through it,its hard to relate to infertility. We, like many others tried to start life out the right way...... Find yourself, get that "job" you worked so hard for, and become a professional productive member to society, then find that one right person who was meant for you and start a family. Unfortunately it all sounds like a grand plan, but when your older starting a family isn't always as easy as it's suppose to be..... So, that is where Dr. Radcliffe and her amazing crew came in. And, its been a long exhausting road as well, but the end results make all the sacrifices worth it!! The whole office is like one big family, they are all so helpful and supportive working together as a team. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Ratcliffe, her intelligence, professionalism, and her direct way of communicating. Yes she is a the "matter of fact"… type, but that is what I like. I dont need anyone to candy coat anything. I want to know the specifics and correct information, even if its not what I want to hear, that way I can make an educated decision based on facts to hopefully get better results.... I also found her sense of humor to make uncomfortable situations (constant ultrasounds,ect) much easier and more tolerable, easing the situation. The medical staff in the office were all so incredible!! Very comforting and friendly as well through this whole process. Bonnie the IVF coordinator was very sweet and helpful, guiding us through the whole process, and what to expect. Ashley the secretary was always so sweet, answering all my calls with her pleasant voice and answering my crazy questions with her sweet demeanor. Then of course there are the medical assistants Patty and Jamie... What blessings and huge assets they are to this office! Like I said, its been a very long journey with multiple IVF procedures, blood draws, ect.. A massive emotional roller coaster, and through it all they were kind, supportive, knowledgeable, and very professional. They made every painful and emotional step much easier with their support and kindness! Always bubbly and happy making you feel at ease. I cannot thank them enough for their support through this whole process, what a difference having GREAT staff makes!!! I cannot say enough great things about these two!! And that leaves us where we are today. With positive results,a positive experience and our first little one on the way, YAY!!! Thank you to the team for your dedication and devotion to helping us achieve our goal... We are FOREVER grateful for everything, and cannot express our gratitude!!
